What follows is general advice re. the written assignment, but what it has to say about the structure of an intro applies particularly to you - as the intro you've posted illustrates a number of stylistic and structural issues that I'd like to see you approach - for example, you begin your intro with 'content' , when the job of the intro is much more pragmatic than that. Anyway - take a look and amend accordingly.
